Pharmacy notes
Know who will fill the prescription
Before agreeing to a medicine plan, get the name of the pharmacy that will supply the prescription.
← The opening pageCheck the Minnesota permission
A pharmacy in another state needs a Minnesota licence to supply prescriptions to Minnesota residents, under rules checked October 1, 2026. It also needs the required permission in its home state.
Ask which location will fill the prescription. Use that name and location in the state lookup.
A delivery still needs a way to ask
Under Minnesota rules checked October 1, 2026, an out-of-state pharmacy must give Minnesota patients a toll-free number for a pharmacist. The number must appear on the medicine label.
Ask how to reach a pharmacist who can see your prescription record. Keep the contact details with the medicine information.
Ask for the product’s own instructions
Peptide medicines can need different storage. Follow the information for your own product, on its label and in the instructions from the pharmacy.
Ask how the specific product is stored, what to do about a delivery concern and whom to contact about an unclear label.
Ask what registration proves
The US medicine review agency is FDA. Registration puts a business’s location on FDA’s list. That entry approves neither the business nor the medicines it makes. Nor does registration give permission to sell a drug, under rules checked September 26, 2026.
Ask what the claim refers to. Check the pharmacy record and the medicine’s status separately.
Ask for help reading the label
Ask a pharmacist to go through the label with you. Get an explanation for any wording you cannot repeat back.
