Price notes
Read the small words beside a price
“Starting at” and “after the offer” belong in your budget as much as the large price does.
← The opening pageA published price is a starting point
Semaglutide, sold as Wegovy for weight loss, had an original list price of $1,349.02 on the government website TrumpRx.gov when checked September 26, 2026.
List price is a maker’s published wholesale price; it differs from the cash offer or insured copay a person may pay.
Ask for your own written total. A published list price does not answer what your plan pays or what the care fee includes.
The cash offer is a different figure
Tirzepatide, used for diabetes or weight care, is sold as Mounjaro and Zepbound. Cash offers for most semaglutide and tirzepatide brands were around $149–$499 a month when checked September 26, 2026. The product and strength affected the price.
For some products, a late refill could put that price above the range.
A month’s supply differed across those offers, so the quoted amounts do not all cover the same pack or period.
Opening offers can end
Some savings cards and cash offers were due to end December 31, 2026, under terms checked September 26, 2026.
Ask when the regular price takes over and whether a refill or commitment changes the deal. Leave room to check the terms again before the next payment.
A savings card has eligibility terms
For these brand-name weight and diabetes drugs, copay cards require insurance from a job or a private policy you buy, under terms checked September 26, 2026. Medicare, Medicaid and military coverage are excluded.
That card exclusion does not mean a government-insured person is always barred from a maker’s separate cash price.
Compare the same thing
Match the product, the period covered and what is included. Ask whether the quoted figure pays for medicine alone or also care.
Leave an unchecked price unchecked
For a Minneapolis care quote, ask the business for its terms and your insurer for its reply. Neither a national headline nor a first-month offer fills that gap.
